My Mini4wd

Mini4wd racing was very exciting for me back in 1999 when it was introduced here in the philippines. I started collecting this mini's when my kins stop playing them as gift came from me. i felt sorry for this collectibles lying on the floor like a very cheap toys that when you got fed up with it you can throw it. My kins always asked me to race with them when I bought them the mini4wd kits. I t was pure basic set-ups only right from the box to be short. And they are racing against rich kids that can set-up the best car for the tracks and bag the trophies home. We go home empty with hope to win the next race I was 20 that time newly graduate and got a first job at a reputable company. The next race we venture into was my kins did not compete instead brought me to a hobby shop and pick the tune-up parts they need because they are not competing with kids anymore they are racing with the grown-ups already who has the same story that I have. My are racing with real adults already older than my father. WHAT!!!!! To cut the story short I spend all my first 13th month pay just to buy what they need to compete with the Big BOYS!!!!!. I'm not really interested in joining. When my 3 year old nephew ask me to help him with new kit that I bought for him. I got curios how this things run. I used to play plastic toy cars in younger years just pulling the other end of the rope and run with the cars Its funny but things are different every ten years. Whew!!! I got my first win in 1 event using my nephews car he held the trophy and delighted to show his parents the trophy we bagged down. AND I was left with the credit line with the kits I bought for them all the parts are whew!!! very expensive for a 1/32 size model car of this kind. And I end-up taking all the things I bought for my kins. When I saw this expensive collectibles lying on the floor cluttered and being kick off. Oh! my god I spent my 13th mo pay on this little things. I know its bad to take what you have given. Who cares I am collector in my younger years. I still have GIJoes and transformer and the thunder cats that I used to trade in with my dc/marvel comic and archie. Who cares of the bad luck.So race with the big boys and gain friendship all over the philippines where I got online with the racers in TamiyaManila it still exist. Here is where you can gather good information about racing and events. It was around since 1999. I got to be a member in 2000 until now with a new account name. And I had come race last august where I started from scratch again and until now still picking up what I had missed. Although I still have the knowledge in my old racing days. I need the resource to assemble new racing machine to compete.
